Originally a planet much like our Earth... The only thing different about Kewusoa before the Anthros came was that the human population was struggling. Nobody knew how they got there. -Not even the humans themselves! Fortunately they were quickly starting to make progress! Large cities and small towns were starting to appear. Soon the only thing that made it different from our technology was transportation. Finally, when a Caroline J. Spike was starting to recreate the first car; she accidentally crossed two wires wrong and sparked the creation of many black holes- Both in the human world and in many different ones.
Soon strange and familiar creatures started to come through. At first they were usually like any animal; they walked on either four to eight legs or they had two legs and a pair of wings, a common few laid eggs, they couldn't talk and only made sounds, they weren't capable of rational thinking or faculties, and they weren't afraid of strutting around in fur rather then clothes. However, soon after they arrived in this world they started to develop human-like qualities- much faster then the humans ever did. Soon they were all starting to walk around on two legs or on four like a centaur, they were starting to give birth to live young- even the ones that laid eggs, they were also starting to understand speech and were slowly gaining thought patterns (They also invited their own language that only they and other animal-like creatures could understand), a few even stole some of the clothes from the camps the humans used to live in and were trying them on themselves.
Many humans thought they should destroy this increasingly dangerous threat. But a few thought that they should become their allies instead before the "anthros" or "furries" as they called them tried to eliminate the human race. Soon the first human/anthro interaction was between a human naturalist named Theodore D. Wolf and the leader of a tribe of canines called "Ajani" in 35 B.D.. It started when Theodore found the dog-like creature in his front yard, trying to court his beloved Siberian Husky/Golden Retriever mix Savannah. He watched as the anthro offered his dog flowers, jewelry, and chocolate covered strawberries. Each time Savannah rejected him and walked away. Eventually the anthropomorphic canine gave up and sat there on the ground pouting. That's when Theodore approached the dog like creature. It seemed almost completely oblivious to him approaching except when he was just within biting range of it. That's when it whirled it's head around and barked and growled aggressively. It appeared hostile and judging by the size of it's muscles it could probably rip a truck in two. But appearances weren't everything. Instead Theodore sat a few feet away from the anthro, then he slowly rolled onto his back with his legs wide open, his arms behind his head, and his eyes pointed at the sky. By showing basic canine calming signals, this reassured the anthro that he wasn't dangerous. This confused, but also intrigued, the human-like dog. Soon he slowly stood up, walked over to the human, and sat down next to him with a questioning look on his face. Theodore then sat up slowly, as not to scare the canine anthro, and held out his land to let the anthro either sniff it or shake it. To his surprise the anthro sniffed it cautiously- much like a dog would- then took it with his canine but human-like hand and shook it- like a human would. Theodore introduced himself and invited the dog anthro to come in. Once again to his surprise he understood perfectly. He called the anthro "Ajani" and offered him to stay. Instead, Ajani invited Theodore to live with him and the other members of his pack. Since then Theodore became obsessed with the anthropomorphic world. He learned their language and taught many of them the human language. Theodore completely broke the line between human and animal interactions.
Soon the anthros came to live with the humans and they quickly became a big part of their world. Many trusted and loved the humans and most would do almost anything to for them. Others hated their "hairless ape" overlords and did everything they could to bring misery and suffering to the humans. And a few more primitive ones wanted nothing to do with the humans and struggled for life by themselves. Even though the anthros had arrived less then a a decade ago, they quickly became more advanced and were slowly becoming isolated from their friends. Soon about a half of the anthropomorphic population began to develop abnormal abilities such as super strength, super speed, and many others. This made the humans scared and they soon quickly kicked them out of their cities and civilization. Almost immediately, the anthros swore revenge against the humans and it practically seemed like the end for the human race...
The year is now 50 B.D. and it seems like Armageddon for the human race. The anthros, who were once their friends, have forced them into caves underground to avoid their destruction. But they are slowly closing in... Deep down in a large main cave where the humans gather to hold meetings, they're finally starting to mess with religion once more... They are praying to the deity of deities, Solaris, for someone to save them from the rising threat. Suddenly in a large flash of light, four anthros appeared. The humans are scared. But to their relief; these anthros have come to help them.
The first one is a brave and reasonable, male black tiger with white stripes. Five golden rings are adorned upon him, one is around his neck, two are around each wrist, two large ones around his ankles, and one small one near the tip of his tail. The deities called Berkah, and he is a powerful wielder of pyrokinesis.
The next is a beautiful Akita/Dire wolf mix named Rozene. Although her Auburn fur works well with Berkah's pyrokinesis, she's actually a aquakinetic instead. She always had a small pouch by her side that was filled with a mystical spring water that could even heal the most fatal of wounds.
The third is a black, white, blue, red, and gold flightless bird anthro. Rumor says not even the deities were sure what species she was; but many thought she was a mix between a raven, parrot, and kiwi. Her name was Sani, and even though she could not fly, she had amazing aerokinesis.
Finally, the last one was a two headed rattlesnake/Komodo dragon mix who was an powerful geokinetic. He was known as "Rough and Tough Shiriki" and, much like Berkah, he was adorned with two giant silver rings around both of his necks.
They called them the Four Sovereigns, and bravely, the four demigods led the humans out of their hiding and quickly helped restore the peace between them. They also did a few other things they thought would help. Such as creating a new race (the Kemonomimi), granting the humans who were worthy enough powers themselves, and by granting the anthros human forms. However, the deities didn't trust the anthros and the humans to keep the peace forever. So they entrusted the Four Sovereigns to keep it themselves... Since then, humans, Kemonomimi, the Four Sovereigns, and anthros of all kinds and species, have lived together peacefully.
-Well... Most of the time anyways...
